Image Usage Terms
This document governs the use of the Zero image and video. It does not cover the physical device depicted, which is addressed separately, as set out below.
Ownership. The video titled “Zero” (the “Work”) is a joint work of Pietro Brusa and Thomas Brusa (the “Co‑owners”), who jointly hold all copyright in it, including the overall composition as shown (device together with any stand, base, or other staging element). “Haphys” is a registered word and figurative trademark of the same Co‑owners. Independently of the copyright in the Work as a whole, the underlying form of the device is itself an original artistic creation, predating its technical application and never previously made public, separately protected by copyright and held jointly by the Co‑owners — this protection subsists whether the form is viewed within the Work or in isolation. The device is additionally the subject of a pending patent application and a registered design, also jointly owned by the Co‑owners.
Editorial and personal use — free. Reproduction and sharing of the Work for editorial, informational, critical, or educational purposes (articles, posts, reviews, teaching material) is permitted without prior authorization, provided that: (i) the Work is not altered in a way that misrepresents its content; (ii) attribution “Haphys Zero” is kept wherever technically possible; (iii) the use does not suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement by the Co‑owners.
Commercial use of the image — written permission only. Any commercial use of the Work as visual content (including, without limitation: merchandising, advertising, inclusion in paid products or services, prints offered for sale) requires the prior written permission of both Co‑owners.
Rights over the device — not covered here. This document covers only the Work as visual content. Reproduction and commercialization rights over the physical device depicted are not granted by this document under any circumstance — they remain reserved to the Co‑owners unless and until a separate Zero License is published, only in the event of a future transfer of the token. Unauthorized creation or distribution of digital files enabling reproduction of the device (such as 3D-printable files) may infringe applicable intellectual property rights, regardless of the medium used.
Trademark. The Haphys logo, as an original graphic work, is protected by copyright independently of trademark registration. Use of the “Haphys” name or logo outside the context of editorial sharing of the Work as published by the Co‑owners requires separate written authorization, independent of any authorization (if granted) to use the image itself.
For authorization requests or any question about these terms, contact the Co‑owners directly.
